ProgDVB is a wonderful application that allows you to watch TV and listen to radio channels directly from satellite. The program is completely free, but to use it you need a DVB-PCI card with hardware decoders on the board and a SAT-dish. The application features a very simple and intuitive user interface that requires no knowledge at all. It supports network broadcasting and audio/video recording of the stream to different digital-media formats. This utility provides important and useful functions and allows you to add a few more by means of plug-ins. Some of these features include video and audio recording, full-screen visualization, teletext, import and export channel lists and many others. This version features several improvements and bugs fixes that include the ability to switch the sound stream and to add subtitles by context menu or RC in professional versions. The professional paid version supports "Picture in Picture" function, High Definition TV including H.264/AVC. It supports Windows Vista, XP, and 2000. |
